Tyler lost tooth # 5 last week! Now there are 2 out on top, one out on the bottom and he is trying desperately to wiggle the other loose one on the bottom. He looks so cute with that big smile!!
We had our Christmas Pics taken outside this year - we thought for sure it would be rainy and cold but it was sunny and almost a little warm. The kids did great and I loved how the pics turned out!
Megan's dance class did a little show for us before Christmas break. The girls were so cute but they are so funny because they won't hardly look at the moms while they dance, they will only look at their teacher. The pic is of Megan and her friend Caroline. Below is the video . . .
We went to visit Santa and Megan was actually very excited to see him and wanted to talk to him and tell him what she waned - big difference from last year!
Last year Santa sent 2 little elves to watch the kids and let him know if they were naughty or nice. He picked them up Christmas Eve and promised he would send them back this year. Sure enough the night we decorated the house the little elves showed up and made some mischief by dumping out all the kiddos stuffed animals. The kids were so happy to see them the next morning!
We celebrated Steven's 38th Birthday at El Jarrito Mexican Restaurant. Megan was not too happy when they put a sombrero on his head and started singing. Susie made Steven a special Texas Tech cake and it was yummy!
Right after we arrived at the Renaissance Festival the kids noticed the Bungee Jumping on Trampolines and were begging to do it. I was afraid they were too little but both weighed enough. Amazingly Megan jumped right up, let the guy put the harnesses on her and started climbing the stairs. She held on for dear life but was smiling and laughing the entire time. It was a little scary that they were going so high! Tyler went after Megan and was doing great at first and then after the 3rd bounce, looked right at me and mouthed "I'm scared" and had a terrified look on his face. I really thought he might get sick but he stuck it out and was very proud of himself when it was over!! I was pretty impressed with my little dare devils!! 2 videos are below . . .
We took the kids to the Renaissance Festival for the first time and Papa Steve went with us. Megan was in love with all the fairies and a few stopped her and gave her a little ring or magic pebble. Tyler thought all the swords were pretty cool. We had to cover their eyes a few times because of the costumes but they didn't seem to notice!
After many bruises Tyler learned how to ride his bike this fall without any training wheels. Megan also figured out how to push her pedals - now if we could just teach her how to steer!! 2 videos are below . . .
The kids had so much fun Trick or Treating! Mamma Debbie Redditt, Papa Steve (scream mask), Papa Jim (old man mask) and Daddy went around the neighborhood with them. Susie and I stayed at the house, passed out candy and got eaten by bugs!! The cake is my first and last attempt at a homemade cinnamon pumpkin shaped cake - it was yummy but not so prettty!
